How does MetroDeal work?

How does MetroDeal work? 

  1. Buy: Snap up your desired deal by clicking on the “Buy Now!” button to buy a voucher from one of the sellers.
  2. Pass it on: Tell your friends about MetroDeal and make the most of your city with collective buying power!
  3. Experience: Your voucher will be downloadable from your MetroDeal account (via the green bar at the top of the website). Enjoy your voucher and discover a new side to your city!
  4. No printout required: Show your voucher on your mobile phone or on our mobile app for iOS or Android to the merchant when you redeem your voucher. Save paper and enjoy the convenience of buying and redeeming MetroDeal vouchers on the go!

I like a deal being displayed - how do I get it?

Shopping at MetroDeal is very easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Click on the deal that you like and read the deal description and fine print thoroughly as it contains important deal information such as the voucher validity period and redemption instructions. 
  2. If you wish to purchase the deal from the seller, click ‘Buy Now’ (as long as the ‘Buy Now’ button is still available. It sometimes isn’t if the capacity limit has been reached or the countdown is over). 
  3. Log in to your account and enter your details. If you are a new user, enter your payment address and payment details. 
  4. Check that all information is correct and click on "submit order".
What happens after I buy?

You can find the link to the seller's voucher at My Account > My Orders. If you are not logged in, you need to first login under www.MetroDeal.com/login by entering your email address and password that you used to register with us.

You can easily redeem from your phone. No printout required. Access your account via our mobile website on your phone or download our app for iOS or Android.

Where is my voucher?

After your purchase, you will then be able to access your voucher at My Account > My Orders. If you are not logged in, you need to first login under www.MetroDeal.com/login by entering your email address and password that you used to register with us.

Dragonpay payment option: How much time do I have to pay if I pay through bank deposit / LBC?

If you have selected an over-the-counter banking option or LBC, you have 1 day (24 hours) to make your payment and to confirm it. If you purchase something on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you can make your payment until Tuesday. You can also do that even if a deal has already expired, your voucher will then simply be activated as soon as you confirm your payment.

What is the procedure to get my voucher(s) by bank deposit?

If you select Dragonpay as payment option, please select your preferred option (BDO, BPI, Chinabank, EastWest, Metrobank, PNB, RCBC, Unionbank, UCPB or LBC). You will then be sent payment instructions to your email address, please print these and bring them to a branch of the option you chose and make your deposit. Afterwards, if you have selected one of the banks, access the instructions email again, click on the confirmation link and fill in the necessary details, which will automatically validate your paymen and unlock your voucher(s) in your account on www.MetroDeal.com. In case you selected LBC, after deposit please wait for 1 day for the system to process it. Then the system will automatically validate your payment and unlock your voucher(s) in your account on MetroDeal.

Can I pay for the deal in cash?

Yes, just select at the payment options screen that you want to pay over the counter at BDO, BPI, Chinabank, EastWest, Metrobank, PNB, RCBC, Unionbank, UCPB or LBC - it's your choice where you want to pay cash over the counter.

How do I book a travel deal voucher?

After your purchase, your MetroDeal travel deal voucher will be available in your account under "My Orders" and will contain all the necessary booking information. Here are the steps to follow:

 

  • Find the deal that’s right for you.
  • Purchase your MetroDeal travel voucher.
  • Contact the merchant, as specified on your voucher or in the Fine Print & Details.
  • Book a date within the travel window specified in the Fine Print & Details.

I have troubles logging into my MetroDeal account, what can I do?

How can I access my account?

In order to access your account, visit the MetroDeal home page and click on "login" at the top right-hand corner. Then enter your email address and password.

What if I receive the message "email / password incorrect"?

If you receive the message "email / password incorrect", make sure that you are loging in with the email address that you used to register with MetroDeal. If you verified that you are using the correct email address, the issue might be that your password is incorrect. You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot Password?". You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. 

If you don't receive this email (check your spam folder), you most likely don't have a MetroDeal account. You might have subscribed to the Newsletter without having created a MetroDeal account. In this case, create an account by clicking on "register".

Do I need to print my voucher?

You can easily redeem from your phone. No printout required.

If you purchase from a PC or desktop, visit our mobile website or download the iOS or Android app of MetroDeal. Access your account under "My Account" and open your voucher and present it to the merchant on your phone when you claim it.
